  20. Many people want metadata from URLs too. A simple way to add metadata
  21. would be to add a new operation (GETMETA) where the format of the
  22. metadata is returned according to the Accept: headers.

  24. Extensions to actually retrieving metadata for resources shouldn't be
  25. restricted to any URN implementation, should it?
